Hideo Kojima has commented, “Blu-Ray is too small for MGS4″, on the current PS3 Standard disc (25 Gigs on a single layer Blu-Ray disc).

While Hideo Kojima doesn’t necesarily care much about HD, he says there’s a lot you can do with sound that would fill up a Blu-Ray disc really quickly. On top of everything else in the game this apparently makes the game go way past the 25 GB limit. And Kojima said that he wants to use the new higher spec 50 GB Blu-Ray for MGS4.

So how many Xbox 360 discs does it take to make a Kojima happy? 18? 50? Blue Dragon has already seen 3 discs in Japan…
